About this blanket
A beach day has a way of turning into a small chore: the wind lifts the corners, sand finds its way onto everything, and the blanket ends up heavier on the way home than it was on the way out. This one answers most of that. The polyester fabric is woven so sand slides right off and water beads on the surface instead of soaking in, which keeps it light and dry when you shake it out. Four pockets at the corners take a handful of sand to hold the blanket down on a breezy afternoon, no stakes required, and they double as a place to tuck phone, keys, or sunglasses.
It is a generous size, room enough for two people to stretch out or a small group to share. When the day is done, it folds into a mesh carry bag about the size of a loaf of bread and weighs around a pound and a half. Sunlit prints it in boho patterns that photograph well, but the real work is in the details you feel rather than see.
