Sizes and fit
Every piece in the Sunlit range is decided by one measurement: the rod, the floor in front of the tub, the print in the drawer, the number of people on the sand. This page says which measurement, and what we make for it.

The shower rod and the curtain
A shower curtain starts with the rod, not the curtain. The standard curtain is 72 by 72 inches. Most of ours are that size. The width is easy. The drop is the part you measure.
Measure from the rod down to the point where the hem should land. At a usual rod height, a 72-inch drop sits just above the rim of the tub. A higher rod shortens that reach. A rod set higher needs a longer curtain than the standard size. Take that measurement first, because the rod is already where it is.
The curtain has twelve grommets along the top. The hooks come in sets of twelve. One hook to each grommet, and you have exactly the right number.
Hooks
A plain metal hook is a ring. The ring measures 1.2 inches across and fits a standard shower rod. Twelve rings make a set, and twelve grommets make a curtain. The two line up.
If you use a liner, the double hook does that work. It holds a curtain on one side and the liner on the other, both on the same ring. You do not thread two rings through the rod every morning.
The decorative hooks are the visible part of the job. The resin figure is what you see, the ring is what slides. That is why the colourway should be chosen against the curtain, not the wall. The wall is background. The curtain is what the figure sits on.
Bath rugs and mats
Measure the floor in front of the tub before you measure the mat. That is the floor your foot finds when you step out.
20 by 30 covers one step. 20 by 32 gives that step a few more inches. 32 by 32 works when the space in front of the tub is close to square. A 24 by 60 mat runs along the tub edge, or fronts a double sink as a runner.
The mat has a non-slip back. It does best on a clean, dry floor, so give it that.
Picture frames
A frame is named for the print it takes. The 4 by 6 frame is an opening for a 4 by 6 print. A 5 by 7 print has no place in a 4 by 6 frame. That is the first decision, and the other sizes follow the same rule.
Ours are 2.5 by 3.5, 4 by 4, 4 by 6, 5 by 7, and 8 by 10. These are the print sizes most people already have. Match the print, and the frame is the frame.
Oval and heart shapes change the picture. They crop the corners of a rectangular print into the curve. A face or a signature near the edge can be taken away by that curve. Keep the important part toward the center.
A set of two is for two pieces that belong side by side, in matching frames, on a shelf or a mantel.
Beach blankets
Count people. The 85 by 72 is a neat fit for two. The 106 by 81 is the family size, the one written as 7 by 9 feet. The 10 by 9 is for a group, or for two people who like their room.
The four corner pockets fill with sand and hold the blanket down. The 7 by 9 weighs about 1.6 pounds, which is light for something that covers a whole patch of beach.
The bath
Bath Jello goes in the tub, in the water. It sits at the lower or upper back, whichever wants the support. Two silicone suction cups fix it to a smooth tub surface. If the tub is textured, the suction cups do not grip the same way.
The full-body pillow is about 49 inches long. That runs most of the length of a standard tub, so there is somewhere to lean along the whole back.
The step stool measures 14 by 11 by 7 inches. One step, with a soft top, beside the tub or the bed. The three numbers are the length, the depth, and the height.
Stool cushions come in two sizes: 12 inches or 14 inches across. Measure the seat first, and then choose the diameter that matches the seat.
