Editorial policy
Everything on this site is written for it. Nothing is copied from a product page or from anywhere else. These are the rules we hold ourselves to.
Only what can be checked
A size, a piece count, a material or a price appears only where we have it. Adjectives that cannot be verified against the piece on your table do not appear in a specification, because there is no way to be wrong about them and therefore no way to be right.
Sources
Where a page touches falls in the bathroom, candles, indoor air or the sun, it cites a public institution and prints the date we read the page. Every source was opened and read before the sentence beside it was written, and the sentence was written to the source rather than the source hunted to fit a sentence.
Those sources say inconvenient things and we print those too. The CDC report on bathroom injuries recommends grab bars, which we do not sell, and says so next to our rugs and our stool. The fire protection association recommends flameless candles, which is what our ceramic sets ship with, and we say not to put a flame in them. The EPA page on indoor air says nothing about shower curtains, and we do not pretend it does.
The company story
The sections about how we work and who does the work describe roles and habits, not people. No founding year, city, factory, staff number, award, test result or patent appears anywhere on this site, because none is published by the brand, and the team section describes roles rather than people, without photographs.
Reviews
Customer reviews on the front page are quoted word for word, with name, star rating and date, and each links to the piece it is about. We do not write testimonials, and we do not remove the ones below five stars.
What we do not do
We do not describe a piece as suitable for a use it was not made for, we do not promise safety or health, and where a public institution draws a line we print the line rather than working around it.
